It's hard to believe Zima came about nearly 25 years ago!
A younger generation could equate Zima with a Smirnoff Ice, or Mike's Hard Lemonade. It's not a beer, but not a hard liquor, kind of a clear malt liquor. Kind of like the alcoholic version of Crystal Pepsi.
MillerCoors is ready to resurrect Zima. AdAge says that Pete Coors, who ran Coors back when Zima was first rolled out, blames that marketing and packaging for Zima.
