Dave's Weekend in Five Pictures (March 31 - April 2)

Hope you had a good weekend!

We got back from our trip to Mexico on Thursday night so it was good to have Friday-Sunday to catch up on work, stuff around the house, email etc.

BUT there was still time for fun stuff.  Like Carson's 16th birthday.  He had friends over and they were more than happy to embarrass him by singing happy birthday to him and making him wear a birthday crown, which he took off when he saw I was taking a picture!

Saturday was April Fools Day so I put my joke on my Facebook page at facebook.com/daveryankdwb Basically I said after 24 years, it was time for a change, and as much as I hated to say it, Monday would be my last day at KDWB with this old computer monitor.  Hilarity.

Saturday afternoon I went to the new Hyvee store in Savage and met a ton of very fun and cool people! Shout out to everyone there including Sarah from Hyvee who set the whole thing up, and all the great people I met!

Sunday morning, my daughter Allison and I met at the Science Museum in St. Paul to see "Everest" at the IMAX theater.  We both read the book "Into Thin Air" about the disastrous 1996 Everest expedition and this movie was shot the same year, and even touches on the story of the tragedy.  By the way, I notice I now smile like "The Joker."

I love video games.  I've said before that if I could do nothing all day but play video games, I'd be alright with that.  I got a Nintendo Switch to take on vacation to play while I was laying around on the beach.  And I played it a bunch more this weekend.  It's awesome!

That's it!  I appreciate you checking out my blog!  Have a great week!
