Katy Perry appeared Tuesday (5/16) on Ellen to promote her upcoming album Witness, which was ~cool~ and all until things took a turn for the awkward when Ellen insisted Katy's never been married (the pop star married actor Russell Brand in 2010. The two filed for divorce 14 months later).
