After announcing her split from Liam Hemsworth she's now released a new song called “Slide Away,” which seems to address a painful breakup. "Once upon a time it was made for us/ Woke up one day and it turned to dust,” she sings. “Baby we were fine but now we’re not/ So it’s time to let it go.”
And if you’re wondering whether it really is specifically about her relationship with Liam, she does seem to reference the beginnings of their relationship, singing, “Move on. we’re not 17/ I’m not who I used to be/ You say that everything changed/ You’re right, we’re grown now.”
