Things Are Good As Hell for Lizzo, Time Magazines "Entertainer of the Year"

Wednesday morning Time Magazine revealed the recipients of its annual list of most influential people with climate activist Greta Thunberg being named "Person of the Year."

Adopted Minnesotan Lizzo has skyrocket this year, with hits "Truth Hurts and "Good as Hell" which has led to her being named Entertainer of the Year.

Time says Lizzo has earned the praise for her "relentlessly positive and impossibly catchy" sound and lyrics that are "funny, bawdy and vulnerable."

Speaking to the magazine, she puts some of the credit for her success down to the trend towards body positivity, something she has always championed but had previously been seen as a protest, rather than a "trendy, commercialized thing."
