Have You Heard the New Dating Term: "Anti-Ghosting"?

You've heard of "ghosting" someone, where you disappear and stop responding to texts. But "HuffPost" just did a big article on something called "ANTI-ghosting."

So what is it? Literally just breaking it off with someone the NORMAL way.

Quote, "It means having the maturity to be upfront about your feelings as opposed to vanishing in a ghost-like fashion."

Here's an example they gave: You might text the person and say, "Hey, thanks for meeting up last night. You seem chill, but we're looking for different things." Or you could say, "Last night was fun, I just think we have more of a friend vibe."

Ghosting is so common now, I guess it needs its own term that means the opposite. But if saying "I got anti-ghosted" seems weird to you, here's an alternate term you might find useful: "I got DUMPED."
