Most Workers Say They Could Get All Work Done in Four Days, Could You?

In a recent survey, 76% of American workers say they could complete all their work within FOUR work days, rather than five.

And that's NOT working longer days to have an extra day off. On average, workers estimate that they are productive for an average of 31 hours per week. And 21% say they're only productive about 20 hours a week.

 

The implication is NOT that workers are lazy, it's that the work environment is inefficient, like wasting time with unproductive tasks and meetings, or the focus being more on job hours rather than work progress and completion.

 

Earlier this year, a massive four-day workweek experiment in the U.K. was a success for both employers and employees. It's hard to imagine a widespread change in the U.S. but it sounds like companies could save a lot of time and money with a more modern approach.
